Sending an Initial Contact email

Initial Contact emails are sent to customers when they have reached out to us but have not set an appointment yet. This would be if we are unable to reach them after an attempt to call them for the first time, or after certain reminder dates. For more about reminder date actions, see Reminder date actions.

To send an Initial Contact email, open the Opportunity you would like to send the initial contact about. Locate the Opportunity Information section, and find the Contacts portion. An email is required to be listed in the opportunity in order to send an email. Beside Email, click the envelope icon (✉️).

The Compose Email window will open. By default, it will have the customer's email already entered.

To send an Initial Contact email, click Select a template (optional)... under Template. In the list, click Initial Contact. The Message Body will automatically populate with the Initial Contact template and the customer's name.

Finally, you may click the ✉️ Send Email button located at the bottom right of the window.
