Opportunities & Sales Pipeline — Having communication with someone, create an Opportunity to start the sales pipeline. Open Opportunities and click + New Opportunity. The new modal opens as three side-by-side columns so you fill everything on one screen. Start in the Contacts column — type the customer's first name, last name, email, or phone. The system searches existing contacts as you type and offers to reuse matches so you avoid duplicates. For brand-new customers, it creates the contact and opportunity together in one step. Add a company name for business clients, and toggle Additional contact on if there's a second point of contact such as a spouse. Next, the Property column: type the job-site address and pick a suggestion from the map auto-complete. Choose Property class (Residential / Commercial) and pick a Property type like Single Family or Townhouse. Leave the Billing address same as property toggle on if both addresses match — the system reuses the address automatically. In the last column, Services & source, tick every service the customer is interested in — you can pick multiple, like Roof Replacement plus Gutter Replacement plus Siding. Choose a Lead Source Category first (Referral, Digital, Direct), then drill down to a Specific Lead Source such as Google Ads — Search or Facebook — Lead Ad. Add Notes for the estimator or crew at the bottom — things like dog on premises, gate code, or back door access. When the required fields are filled, the Create Opportunity button activates. Click it to save — you land on the Opportunity Detail page with status Created, ready for the next step.

Open Opportunities → Click + New Opportunity → 3-column modal appears.
① Contacts: Enter First Name + Last Name + Email + Phone (auto-match existing contacts) → Company (optional) → toggle "Additional contact" if needed.
② Property: Enter Address (autocomplete) → Select Property class (Residential / Commercial) → Select Property type → keep/turn off "Billing address same as property".
③ Services & source: Select one or more Looking for services → Choose Lead Source Category → Choose Specific Lead Source → Add team notes.
Click + Create Opportunity when required fields are complete.
