Creating a GIS point

We create a GIS point for every lead to pinpoint the exact roof location, making it easy to see where job sites are and schedule efficient estimates.

To create a GIS point for an opportunity, open the Opportunity. Find the Address portion at the bottom of the Opportunity Information section in the Overview tab.

Locate the icon with two buildings. If a GIS point has been created for this opportunity, it will be green. If a GIS point has not been created for this opportunity yet, it should appear black and white.

Click the icon and a confirmation window will appear titled "GIS Address Lookup". If the address looks correct, click Get GIS Data. The window will disappear and the icon should now appear green.

It is recommended you click the green icon and view the property info window to ensure the GIS point pin is located directly on a roof.
