Marking an Opportunity as a Bad Lead not only helps filter out illegitimate leads, but it also help us request refunds from the sources we paid to deliver us that lead.
To mark an Opportunity as a Bad Lead, open the Opportunity you would like to mark as such. Locate the Opportunity Information column on the left of the page. In the top right of that section is an ✐ Edit button. Click this button.
The Edit Opportunity Information window will appear.
Opportunity Type
Click the dropdown arrow beneath Opportunity Type.
Select ⚠ Mark as Bad Lead from the list.
The Mark as Bad lead window will appear.
You must select a Reason from the list. The Bad Lead Reasons are as follows:
Bad Contact Info
Not Service We Provide-Other
Out of State
Out of Service Area
Did not request a quote
Service Call
Employment
Solicitor
Wrong Number
Not Property Owner
Other
The Note section is optional, but adding important context is highly recommended.
To confirm marking the lead as bad, click the red Confirm Bad Lead button.
To cancel marking the Opportunity as a Bad Lead, click the 𝗫 in the top right corner of the Edit Opportunity Information or Mark as Bad Lead window, or click the grey Cancel button. Note: It will not save a draft and any information entered for that Opportunity will be lost.
