To schedule a New Appointment, open the page for the specific opportunity you will be creating the New Appointment for.
Find the Scheduling section. Click the New Appointment button. The Set Appointment page will appear.
On the left, you will see a three important pieces of context: The service type, the address, and the branch (state).
On the right, you will see a map with a lot of information beneath it. This information will help us visualize which sales person and time of day are best fit to be scheduled for that opportunity.
In the center we will see an hourly calendar with rows for each sales person certified to service that branch. Items already in the calendar will appear as rectangles. Colored rectangles are scheduled jobs. Grey rectangles are for Blocks. Blocks are added by the salespeople for times they are not working or will not be able to be scheduled for.
When scheduling, it is important to note the salesperson's working hours that day. For days the salesperson is working, there will be a green dot beside their working hours, located beneath their name. Working hours are different than Blocks. A salesperson may have no Blocks scheduled for a day, but they may only be set to work from 8 AM to 1 PM. Salespeople's working hours change from day to day.
Different job types have varying levels of priority. Roof replacements, roofs with active leaks, and X should be scheduled for the earliest availability. Gutter replacements and repairs, X, should be scheduled a minimum of 14 days out
Different job types are scheduled for different durations of time. Reference the duration guide below:
3 Hour Schedule
Roof Replacement

Attic Insulation
1.5 Hour Schedule
Gutter Repair

To create a new item in the calendar, use the hour column lines to find your item's starting time. Locate the row of the salesperson you would like to schedule it with. Click the empty space, and without releasing, drag your cursor to the right. Once the item is the desired duration, release the click. The same action can be completed by clicking the job's ending time and dragging your cursor to the left.
You should now see a rectangle with a dashed boarder. That item is only a draft, and isn't set as an appointment until you click the green Set Appointment button. At the top of the Map Analysis column on the right side of the page, you will see a map route generate, showing the travel route of that salesperson for the day. This provides a clear visual for determining if that appointment is a reasonable distance for the salesperson. If the job is unreasonably far or logistically inefficient, try creating the item in an empty location in another salesperson's row to see if the route becomes more operationally optimal and ideal for the salesperson based on their home location and other jobs they are schedules for that day.
If a salesperson has their working hours set to end at 5 PM, you may set an appointment starting at 5 PM. For instance, if a salesperson has working hours set from 9 AM to 5 PM, you may schedule a roof replacement appointment that runs from 5 PM to 8 PM. Note: The start of the appointment must fall within their working hours. For instance, if a salesperson has working hours set from 9 AM to 5 PM, you may not schedule an appointment that starts at 8 AM or 6 PM.
