What this page is for:
 The Documents card on General Info: generated PDFs — Final Letter, Warranty Certificate, Completion Certificate, and Invoice PDF when that row is shown. Not the photo gallery.

Where: Job → General Info → card Documents
 Copy on the card: Final Letter, Warranty Certificate, Completion Certificate (PDF).

Steps:

  1. Open the job → General Info.

  2. Expand Documents.

  3. For a row: envelope = email, pen = signature menu, eye = signed file, PDF icon = Open PDF.

  4. Envelope opens Email {document name} → Send. Needs a contact email (No customer email).

  5. After sign, the row shows Signed {date}.

Wording and whether a signature is required come from Settings → Document Wording.


Sign on device

What this page is for:
 Capture the homeowner signature on this device for a General Info document. Shown when Settings allow device signing (Email or Sign on device or Sign on device only).

Where: Documents card → pen → Sign on device

Steps:

  1. Click the pen on Final Letter, Warranty Certificate, Completion Certificate, or Invoice PDF.

  2. Choose Sign on device.

  3. Complete the signature pad.


Send for signature

What this page is for:
 Email a signing link for a General Info document. Shown when Settings allow email signing.

Where: Documents card → pen → Send for signature

Steps:

  1. Click the pen.

  2. Choose Send for signature.

  3. Confirm the email → send. Success: Signature request sent to {email}.


Customer signs a job document

What this page is for:
 Public page for Final Letter / Warranty / Completion / Invoice. Invalid link: Invalid link — missing or unknown document.

Where: Link from Send for signature
 /job-docs/sign/{estimateId}?doc=…&token=…

Steps:

  1. Open the link.

  2. Read Review your {document} for Job #.

  3. Click Accept & Sign.

  4. Draw or Type, then Submit Signature.
